A carefully formed firestone in a fine grained stone, dating to Ironage, Pre Roman Period, c. 1st - 4th cent AD

Firestones were used to produce sparks in combination with an iron striker.

A fine specimen of a Danish Neolithic Battle Mace, dating to Single Grave Period - c. 2800-2400 B.C.

The mace is carved from hardstone with an elliptical body. In the center a furrow - approx. 0,5 deep and 1 cm. wide - is carved, to make a secure fastening of the mace to the wooden shaft.

Size: 11 x 5 x 6 cm - weighing 720 gr.

Condition: A choice mace with very few imperfections. Nice patination.

Interesting and rare depiction of a woman and three men standing side by side on this slightly oval stamp which is probably a stylized scarab form with curved upperside. Carved in green stone with a faint cross on the back. The seal can probably be dating to the 3rd.-early 2nd. millenium BC.

Size: 22 mm x 20 mm. and 11 mm. tall.

A very rare and interesting amuletic cylinder seal with top loop, Western Mesopotamia, c. 2200-1600 BC.

The amulet seal is shaped as a tied knot of robe with a loop at the top, engravings on the sides. We have never had such a piece in stock, high unusual!

Size: Substantial - 38 mm. tall and 11 mm. wide.

Condition: Nice VF, intact with deposits and cleaning marks.

A large star-shaped stamp seal, reportedly found Near the ancient city of Antioch, Western Mesopotamia / Eastern Anatolia and dating 5th.-4th. millenium BC.

The seal particularly finely carved in chlorite for this period with deep relief details and a loop-handle on the back.
