This is a large and impressive bronze axe dating to approximately 1200 BC. This piece comes from the famed collection of Axel Guttman in Berlin. It is decorated on both side with incised lines and circles. It measures roughly 26.5 cm in length and weigh 1160 grams. The original auction house tag will accompany the piece. An attractive large fishtail type of dagger, made in the late neolithic period, Daggertime-bronzeage, c. 2000-1600 BC.

A type with an elaborately knapped handle, stiched in the sides and full size for a grown hand. The blade chipped and resized in later periods. Looks originally like a type IV-V to us. Comes with with very old collection tags and another tag written directly in black ink - found at Sorø 1909!

An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.

Size: 23,8 cm. long and quite heavy, so this would probably have been an offer or ritual axe.

Condition: Good Very fine, tiny ding to the edge, othervise perfect and with a nice specled colour with calcification.

Rare and Ancient Celtic Stone Janus from the Published and Renowned Collection of Irwin Hersey, renowned author on primitive art, and publisher of the Primitive Art Newsletter in the 1970s. Irwin Hersey was an advisor to museums and prominent collectors, and vetted pieces for many of the international tribal art fairs. 4.5 inches wide, 3 inches high.

I have too many bronze arrowheads to post separately so here is another group. These are all from China and date from as early as the Western Zhou (circa 700 BC) to as late as the Han period (circa 200 BC). Each of these is a great specimen for collecting, for study, or both. A nice lot of 4 small refined celts made from silex as imitations of bronze celts in the bronzeage period. The set dates to ca. 1400 BC or so and the type are rather scarce since they are made late up in the bronzeage!

Nicely patinated and polished pieces that is a must for collectors of Neolithic silex.

The three points carved in hardstones and probably silex. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.
I think it looks a little bit Nubian, than it is 25th Dynasty. I can not find any parallel of a
comparable faience throne, so it has to be extremely rare.
