The shape emulates the Egyptian scarabs from the period, but made in a rare pink hardstone and with a typical later Assyrian stylized design of the seal plate.

A very special and rare stamp seal, carved in the shape of a high tower with 4 turrets. The base engraved with a seated humanoid figure beside a tree. Drilled at the top.

Condition: Very fine, loss to one turret but othervise good very fine and with a nice ancient patina.

The sword is massive, and heavy in hand. The tang is bend and the blade with rounded, raised shoulders and a flat central midrib. The edges are still sharp, with only slight roughness.
