A rare and very early representation of a Deity, Ancient Near East, 3rd. millenium BC.

The deity likely god from Mesopotamia or Susa, but made in the Southern region and of the mixed intercultural style of Kermanh / Bactria.

The half figure fragmentary with a beak-like nose, large eyes and a small 'sailors' hat, with lumbs of cobber on the body likely representing clothings.

A beautiful and rare stone stamp seal, carved in black serpentine with a high handle, Western Asia, Neo-Hittite states, c. 1000-700 BC

Triangular seal plate, engraved with a reclining 4-legged animal, finely made knob handle with piercing and engravings on the top!

A lovely little set of three smaller axes, one likely German or Northern Europe, dark bronze hardstone and finely polished (9,8 cm), a nice green stone Meso-American celt, also neolithic period (6,2 cm), and lastly a pointed butt type, likely ancient Near East or Northern Africa (7,8 cm). Interesting lot that needs more study!

A fine thick and large cylinder seal, Mesopotamia Uruk-Pre-Dynastic, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC

Very vividly engraved in a black stone with what looks like a human holding a bulls eye or sun symbol and perhaps about to climb a latter. Interesting symbols in the fields as well.

A choice and large tanged bronze lance, later 2nd. mill. BC. 'Luristan' Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan bronze age.

An advanced and impressive bronze lance with a long, bent tang, massive socket and a broad, leaf-shaped blade with highly profiled midrib.

A beautiful lance that would have been highly efficient on combat.

Condition: Choice. Beautiful green bronze patina. Some roughness to the edge.

Presented here is a nice bronze spear with raised center ridge. The spear head features a beautiful green/brown patina and measures an impressive 10”. It remains intact and is presented on a custom base for display. Acquired from Malter Galleries in the late 1990’s.

A fine seal carved in stone with a round seal-base and a tall evolving handle, pierced at the top.

Interesting engraving on the base in the shape of a Sun pattern (?) Size: 34 mm. in diameter, 26 mm. mm tall.

Condition: VF, some wear and minor chipping but intact and overall nicely preserved.

A beautiful larger silver bowl, Sassanian Empire, 300-600 AD.

The Sassanid Dynasty, was the the last native Persian Kingdom to rule Ancient Near East before the Islamic conquest.

An attractive hammered silver bowl, with an scetchy incised animal in the center of the interior and multible concenthric lines around. It looks like a simple bird, but it needs more cleaning to be certain!

Nice earthenware dish with incised, decorations in the interior. Beige/white underglaze with green and brown decorative colors in splash designs.

Condition: Choice & intact. Fine condition for the type with original glaze. A few chips in the interior and on the rim.

A large and impressive bronze seal with Zoomorphic handle in the shape of two bird heads, early 1st. mill. BC.

The seal very large - 5 cm. tall and weighing 56 grams. Its cast with two heads and a loop between them. The seal being round and engraved with a single symbol.

Condition: Superb, exceptional red and green patina.

A thick cylinder seal of greyish stone showing a worshipper introduced to a seated god by a Demigod, probably another godess in the field but weak. Ur III Period, 3rd millennium BC.

Size: 15,5 mm. thick and 21 mm tall.

Condition: Near VF, intact but with some wear and embedded earthern encrustations. Never the less quite attractive in hand.

A large and beautiful Scandinavian style bronze Fibula decorated with knobs and profusely engraved, c. 8th.-9th. century AD.
