Rare funerary cone with three registers of sunk hieroglyphs reading: (1) The Bearer of the brazier (2) of the temple of Amun, (3) Nekhy.
This cone and a second one held in a Japanese collection are the only known examples of the type, which is enumerated as 650/B.23 by Zenihiro.
Both the name and the title on the cone are uncommon. The personal name Nekhy is not listed with Ranke. Also the title is rarely reported and not yet known on funerary cones.

A extremely rare Danish neolithic Daggeraxe from the Funnelbeaker culture dating to 3500-3000 BC.

A nice pair of Danish neolithic chisels dating to Daggertime, 2200-2000 BC.

Interesting neolithic tools with specialized shapes. One with a nearly symmetrical design, the othe with a rounded and hollow edge.

Both are nicely polished and could easily be used today.

Condition: Choice. with a few ancient chips. Very nice greyish patinas.

Massive and very attractive Roman Imperial Period bronze mirror, ca. 1st. century BC.

Impressive mirror with a completely glossy black patina, very large and with one smooth, polished face and one face with concentric lathe-turned ring along the rim where the mirror is very thick.

Size: 14 cm. in diameter, so large for these!

Early Roman Imperial Period silver mirror, ca. 1st to 2nd. century BC

Wonderful mirrow either solid silver or a very thick silver plating - we think it's solid silver with some cuprite oxidation on the surface. A very interesting piece and quite attractive!

Size: 85 mm. in diameter.

Condition: Superb for type, should enhance if cleaned.

Very large female votive head with sensitive facial features. The head of the young woman shows a straight nose, lidded eyes, a small sensuous mouth and a round chin.
The hair is arranged as a large melon coiffure with several tresses bound together to a bun at rear.
The large size points to a votive bust deposited in a temple.

The medallion decorated with the head of a satyr with wild locks and curled heavy beard. The face shows a fleshy nose, full lips and wide open eyes topped by marked eyebrows. The bold head with fine floccus. Goat-like ears.
Satyrs and silens were a very popular subject in the decoration of gutti.
The head is from the same mold as inv. no. 20187 in the Bari Archaeological Museum, cf. fig. no. 81 (T84) in: Fernando Gilotta. Gutti e askoi a rilievo italioti ed etruschi. Roma 1985.
