This is the first piece of the rare collection of Song Dynasty fluted cups. A rare museum quality fluted cup. Grey stoneware body covered with a green Celadon glaze to above the foot-rim. D : 8,8 cm. H : 5 cm. Longquan ware, Zhejiang. Southern Song Dynasty, thirteenth century. Condition : One, even at closeups not visible, restored area to the rim. ( There is still the typical bright ring-sound when you knock the piece )

Northern Song ( 11th - 12th century ) The lustrous and glossy black glaze on the fine white body of this extremely rare piece are characteristic of the finest " Ding " vessels developed in the Dingzhou kilns at Quyang, Ding county, Hebei province in the Northern Song period. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : When examined with a 10X lense there is to see a very fine hairline to the body which is nearly invisible with the free eye, further in a perfect condiion.
