In the central section, the brocade is decorated with repeating pattern of children where one is holding a musical instrument known as a sheng and the other is holding a toy-like object. Up for sale is an antique Chinese Manchu woman's informal domestic robe; 19th century; trims embroidered with flowers and butterflies, and purple silk damask ground embroidered with dragon roundels, backed with light blue silk. Front enclosure to the right with 4 large gilt toggle-and-loop buttons. The robe is in good condition, vibrant colors! These stand for the five blessings : old age, wealth, health, goodness and natural death. This work of the Imperial Qianlong workshops is most probably a part of an Imperial Qianlong throne cushion cover, later bordered with modern high-quality adornments. Qianlong Period ( 1736 – 1795 ) . The gold adornments 19th/20th century. 37 x 46 cm. Condition : Very good.

This is a 19th century made bottle of a thick Bulbous rectangular form with rounded edges, thick straight neck, wide lips and mouth, and recessed oval footing. The well-hollowed bottle has been made in imitation of Realgar, with its mottled shades of red and orange in erratic nebulous forms.
