Large Chinese Qing Dynasty Carved & Painted Pottery Floral Tile
This decorative pottery tile was made during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). It is made from a dense grey pottery. The surface has been carved with an attractive floral design featuring two flower blossoms within a circular border. It has been cold-painted with various coloured pigments. It would once have been part of a series of similar tiles adorning a wall.

Traditional scroll painting of what I am assuming is the Chinese ideal of a courtesan putting her make up on in morning. This was painted in the year of the Fire Rat- 1936 or 1996. I would tend put this at the earlier date because the paper shows some age and this has been newly remounted, as well as the style is evoking feeling of a French boudoir. This Rondel was most likely cut from a Qing dynasty antique Chinese robe, this rondel was bordered. The silk is slightly faded but in good condition. The satin stitch embroidery is clear and clean with no stains. Rondel is 16 inches diameter
Small bowl of rounded shape, carved decoration of stylized lotus petals outside, with a short footring. Celadon, rather thick ceramic, with traces of light brown colour coming from a long stay underground. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Diameter: 5 3/8" (13,5 cm), height: 1 7/8" (4,8 cm). Slight glaze erosion in some areas around the rim, small chips at base, shape slightly warped, otherwise very good condition.

Chinese Famille Jaune Ginger Jar, 8 1/4" high, 8 1/2"-widest area, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, 7" diameter-bottom rim, made during late 1800's to early part of 1900's, thick overglaze Polychrome design on the entire body with Peony flowers and vines with Chinese Character in four(4) circle windows. Star crack on the bottom which stained over the years and scratch on the glaze on the raised decorated surface.
A Chinese jar, 19th Century Kangxi revival. Wu jin or mirror black glaze and decoration in gilt of flowers and birds in reserves against a diapered background. Condition: drilled hole to the base and wear to the gilt, minor scratch marks and some wear around the neck (from the original lid, now missing). A black and gilt lid of a different shape to go with the jar (optional, cf. photo). Height "5½/ 14 cm.
Chinese Green Pottery Ming style garden Column with low relief design of Architectural remnant, from old homes in China, Ca. 19th century, 27 1/2" high, 7 1/2" diameter, with raised low relief design of galloping Horse, big horn Deer, Hawk and long hair Monkey on the tree branches in the deep forest and inside is hollow. The Chinese export wax seal is still intact, and one(1) stained crack about 6" long at just above brown wax seal, and shows brown stain but very tight together.
