This region of Mongolia had quite a number of Yellow Hat Sect Tibetan temples, but most were sadly destroyed when it became the world's second communist country in 1924.Therefore difficult to find such nice specimens. Very Fine KANGXI Blue and White Chinese Porcelain Plate of classical beauty with blue under glaze depicting a rare and exquisitely rendered hexagonal 6-pointed star shaped center medallion, surrounded by detailed flower reserves and diaper panels of Ruyi shape.
