A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period. The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages. Chinese Qing dynasty rounded diamond form four-footed Straits porcelain narcissus dish decorated on the sides in underglaze blue on a white ground with four “shuangxi” symbols (representing double-happiness and wedded bliss) surrounded by a stylized pattern of pencil style scrolling sweet pea vines (symbolizing “many children”). Antique silver and enamel finger nail guard, worn by wealthy ladies to protect their long finger nails and show that they did not need to work with their hands, made all of pierced repouse silver and enamel and decorated with flowers and a raised frog, edge has light blue enamel over a running key fret motif, 19th century. Well potted very white porcelain body ( Dehua Ware ) with an simple but quite decorative cobalt blue underglaze decoration. Diameter : 9,4 cm. H : 5 cm. Condition : Nearly invisible V - shape hairline and another short extremely fine, neary invisible hairline.

Very rare Tang Dynasty (618CE to 907CE) terra cotta wall tile depicting the face of a Zhemushou, a fierce guardian earth spirit meant to ward off evil. It is a trapezoidal shape with much of original red and black pigments intact. Some loss to the lower lip (please see enlargements). Lower W: 19cm/7.8in, upper W: 16cm/6.1in and H: 20cm/9in.

Thinly potted and marked porcelain dish, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with the design of a Crab. Middle Ming Period, fifteenth century. The design of a Crab is common on Kangxi dishes and dishes of later Qing Dynasty Periods. On dishes of the Ming Dynasty the decoration of a Crab is quite rare. Diameter : 11,8 cm. Condition : Perfect.

This piece is quite rare because of its overglaze enamel decoration. A nice chrysanthemum decoration done with a thick sky blue enamel. Late Ming Dynasty, sixteenth century. Diameter : 12,2 cm. H : 8,1 cm. Condition : Some fiering cracks ( the kind of the crazing around the cracks point to it that the cracks are fiering cracks and not a later damage - unfortunately the closeups are not good enough to show this )
