A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. Provenance: Swiss-Dutch family living in Indonesia in the first half of the 20th C. Condition: few traces of usage.
