Small wide mouth grey pottery jar with “soy” brown glaze from an unknown Southern Kiln. The glaze resembles Jizhou ware. Circa Song Dynasty or earlier, the body is quite thinly potted with delicate lugs near the mouth. There is fritting on the mouth and handle but no cracks or chips. H: 9cm/3.5in and D: 6cm/2.3in.

Small Chinese Ming natural Celadon finished dish with ribbed interior with fluted flange. Excellent condition with natural patina consistent with age.
Celadon is a term for pottery denoting both wares glazed in the jade green celadon color, also known as greenware (the term specialists now tend to use, and a type of transparent glaze, often with small cracks, that was first used on greenware, but later used on other porcelains...

Chinese Tang Dynasty Guardian, having dramatic features and detail, a magnificent terrecotta warrior. Known as mingqui in Chinese, these figures were of servants, soldiers (in male tombs) and attendants such as dancers and musicians, with many no doubt representing courtesans. In burials of people of high rank there may be soldiers and officials as well.

Indian stone bust of Brahma with three heads, Central India. Crowned headdress with raiment of a royal being. Light grey stone, benevolent countenance.
Brahma known as the creator god in Hinduism. He is also a consort of Saraswati and he is the father of Four Kumaras, Narada, Daksha, Marich, along with many more.

Several Puranas describe him as emerging from a lotus, connected to the navel of Lord Vishnu...

Nepalese Wood Stele of Bharayvasati and his Consort. Wonderfully carved with crowned headdresses , his eight outstretched arms holding attributes, standing on vanquished foe, consort riding on lion, atop a lotus thorne, lowest level with devotees.

A pair of tiny shoes for a Han Chinese lady with bound feet, dating to the late Qing dynasty. Made of silk, the lower part embroidered with flowers in satin stitch, the upper part with brocaded silk ribbons. Cotton lining and soles. Condition: fine, only little wear. Antique Indonesian karambit, knife with sheath, carved from Indonesian Zitan with black and brown tones, The knife handle carved as a bird head, The sheath has two lizards on one side and a frog carved on the top edge. The handle is curved with a steel blade dagger. With custom metal stand.

Antique Nepalese Bronze Bodhisatva seated on lotus throne. Depicted lovely and delicate detailing with five pointed crown headdress with small head on deer on left shoulder. Hands raised in prayer, hand holding lotus and other had holding rope. Unusual imagery on back of lotus throne of conch shell and running deer. Detachable base from figure.

This is a mystery piece. Purchased by my mother about 30 years ago in japan. The piece is definitely quite old but the origin is not clearly Japanese, Chinese or Southeast Asian. l welcome any opinions. The glaze and patina is very attractive brown with a creme splash interior, I would venture a guess of age 18th/17th century.

Antique Japanese Hexagon Kakiemon Bowl, with floral, pine and plum blossom "Shochikubai motif". Some repaired loses on the rim but dates from the 17th, 18th century. This a very rare piece with the typical white bisque and colors of over enamel distinctive of 17th, 18th century work. Considering the age and rarity the piece is in excellent condition.

Antique Chinese gilt bronze Medicine Buddha, seated on lotus throne base. With hands held together upright on his lap. Eyes downcast in meditation. Base closed with cover embossed with the visvavajra or double vajra, symbolic of the thunderbolt and diamond. Wear consistent with age.

Indian Himalayan Copper Yoni Lingam ceremonial vessel for Holy water, Dates from the 17th - 18th century. Forged from hand hammered copper, a tier-shaped vessel with a navel on the interior. Placed on stand, the vessel has a dramatic sculptural presence with a patina showing its use and age. The Yoni (vulva) is the symbol of the Hindu God Shakti.
