Early 1800s

The entire surface is enameled and painted very skillfully with designs based on Indo-Buddhist mythology. These wares were made of fine porcelain, probably in Jingdezhen, and were exported to the Kingdom of Siam (Thailand) where they were primarily used by the king and his court. The enamels are of a famille rose type, thickly applied, and in the case of this fairly large bowl, very well-painted in the Siamese taste...

A very beautiful Tang Dynasty jar with a pale greenish and slightly bluish glaze effects. This very ancient Tang artifact (681-906 A.D.). is in excellent condition with no hairlines or noticeable damage. Lid and stand included, both which are antiques in their own right. Authenticity is guaranteed. It measures 31.75 cm high or 12.5" high.

A Song dynasty longquan celadon large alms bowl, decorate with carved lotus petal motif on the exterior, good condition with 4 cm hairline, no chips and free from restorations size: 14 cm diameter, 9 cm height.

Costa Rica Diquis Tripod Rattle Bowl. Red, 500AD, 7.5" Diameter H 4.25". The legs are of standing figures wearing a large masks, no damage or restoration.

Delicate and rare Chinese Porcelain Polychrome Cachepot Planter with matching Base Saucer. Both have 4 Character Tao Kuang Period Markings (1822-1850). Planter has 2 holes for drainage. This rare piece, exquisitely suited for an orchid in bloom or special small plant comes with it's own fine and original hand carved rosewood stand as illustrated. Excellent condition, no cracks, no hairlines nor repairs. Size: H. 4.5" (11.5 cm.) x 4" (10 cm.) top diameter. Size with stand: 14.5" (37 cm.)

An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket in an elegant satchel style with woven bamboo rope handle. Original smoked patina with flattened bamboo panels interwoven with the construction of the weave. Finished with a volcanic ash. Bottom has three bamboo slats woven into a triangular structure. Comes with lined bamboo insert.

This is kome-bukuro (sack of grain)of the patchwork dedicated to the Shinto shrine of Edo period(1830-1868). It is weaving of silk kinran and ginran of Nishijin textile. It is very wonderful and beautiful. There is no stain. There is a rubbed little part. However, it is very excellent. The lining is cotton. All the parts are very wonderful textile. Chinese Ming dynasty blue and white dish/plate with Cicada motive at the center. Wanli period. 20,7 cm diameter. Dish in good condition except short hairline at the rim, please see at the picture.

Ivory manju netsuke depicting Chok'aro, a character from Japanese tradition, trying to catch a miniature horse that is running away from its gourd. This netsuke shows Chok'aro in a dynamic pose, his eyes intent on catching the fleeing horse...

Antique Japanese Seto ware chawan (tea bowl) with horses. A raised horse gallops on the outside of the cup near a fence. On the inside bottom of the cup is another running horse. Both have a celadon crackle glaze. The cup shape has an undulating surface and is glazed a rich, mottled brown with yellow flecks...

Chinese heavy carved Stone Slab with Rabbit carving on one side and Floral branch on the other side, Ca. 19th C. 12 1/2" high, 14 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" deep on bottom plat form section. Nicely aged old look, the condition is good, no major damages.

Antique tribal oceanic, South Pacific, Maori Carved Wooden Hand Club Patu/Patau. New Zealand, Maori people early 20th century. The club is finally hand carved in relief with traditional Maori motifs, on the one said with the head of a mythological creature Hei-tiki of humanoid form with long teeth and stained with green pigment. Four(4) Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Plates, Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 1/8" high, underglaze blue decoration of landscape design inside Fan in the center within four(4) sets of floral decoration, and sprays of floral and fan shape design spread out on the outer border with thin brown color rim. One(1) chip size of 1/4" x 1/8" under the rim, small bruise on the one of the plate, several frits on the bottom rim.

Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain oval shape Barber's Bowl, 12 1/2" wide, 9 1/2" deep, 2 3/8" high, early 1820's, with overglaze Famille Rose flowers in the center inside the deep bowl. All the decorations are done overglaze enamel on the orange peel like surface and highlighted with gold. There are two(2) holes on each side on the bottom rim area, to put the cords through the holes to hang on the wall. The condition is good.

Good conditions. except the mark has been erased.

Large bulbous vessel topped by cylindrical spouts and a twofold handle between them. One spout with a red strainer on the top, the other with red wash inside and a strainer on the base.
Decorated with blue-black lines, wave scrolls, an undulating line with ivy leaves and a chain design. Ornaments below the handle, floral motifs near the base.
