Lovely lot with some very elaborately knapped types in different kinds of fine stones. The lot includes types from c. 8.000 BC or earlier to perhaps as late as 2000 BC, more research is needed to accurately date each point...

Tularosa Dog Head Olla, Black On White, Ca. 1175 to 1300 ad. This is a beautiful piece that is not broken but does have a pressure crack restored on bottom, no other restoration or repaint. This unique 3-pronged bone tool is probably a comb, but could be some type of fish or crawdad spear or even a fork. It was found at a Ft. Ancient site in Washington County, Kentucky on private property. One prong was broken off in antiquity and glued back on. This is the most unusual bone piece I have ever seen. It was obviously carved with stone tools. It is nicely polished with great patination. It dates to the Mississipian Period around 1000AD.

Circa 1875-1880. Depicting two warriors on horseback in combat. The warrior on the left wears a long feather headress and carries a pistol. The warrior on the right carries a bow case across his shoulder and holds an arrow in his left hand. "Kaw Indian" written in ink below. Mogollon/Tularosa ca. 1200 to 1300 ad, black on white pitcher with a double effigy handle (clay animal effigy handle with a human figure painted on it, all original) Tularosa is a time period of 100 years that was used by many different tribes from New Mexico to Arizona. Some very nicely knapped points in this lot, incl. a stemmed fishtail type and a scarce shark-tooth shaped point. Fine lot with different spear types, in grey and brown silex, all dating around 10.000-6.000 BC.

Sioux Beaded Hide Child's Moccasins on hide with green trade cloth decoration. Excellent condition. The inner soles are buffalo painted parfleches. c.1900 Length 4 3/4" X Width 2 1/4"

Mesa Verde b/w Large duck effigy pitcher ca. 1180 ad., it is approx: 6-1/2"long X 5-1/2"wide X 7-1/2"high, it is intact except for one shard is restored on rim, the handle and body is intact and original.

Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

Alaska Eskimo harpoon spear point 2.3" long, circa Thule culture 1200 AD to 1700 AD. It was found on Saint Lawrence Island located in the Bering Strait Northern coastal region of Alaska. It has beautiful dark patination. In great condition and is very solid.

5.25". On the back of the handle the spoon is engraved "Edith 1912".
