This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. They were pictured in the Oregon Archaeological Society Magazine "Screenings" Volume 5 Number 6 on August 13, 1956. A copy of the article is included. They were recovered from the Wakemap Mound. The longest is 3". These are extremely rare bone items with beautiful patina.

This bone pendant is 1 3/4". It has been drilled and modified. It may be an atlatl finger rest. It is C1000AD. I purchased it from Tom Davis many years ago. It is from Kentucky.

I purchased this unique antler wedge or chisel from Jim Bennett. It has fabulous patina and is scored/grooved on the sides. It is 5 3/8" and was found near Wakemap Mound on the long narrows of the Columbia River, Oregon in the 1950's by Charlie Mitchell. A very rare and unique piece.

A substantial carving in emerald of an Indian head Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of a Native tribes leader, carved on both sides of the stone. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

This rare bone point was found by Carrol Howe and is pictured in his book "Ancient Tribes of the Klamath County", page 243. It dates to 4500BP and was found by Carrol at Nightfire Island, Siskyou County, California. It is 3 1/8" long and exhibits a beautiful patina.

This is a very nice group of petrified wood points. The longest is 2 3/4". All are "early man" points except the 4th one. It is made from opalized wood and is a Samantha. Will consider selling separately.

These four bone pins were all purchased from Tom Davis many years ago. The first is a very rare Fox Field effigy. The second is an awl/pin that has patinized in a way that is totally unique. The third is an engraved/drilled arrow effigy found by Sonny Atkinson, only three known to exist. It is 8" long. The fourth is another Fox Field effigy. These are top-shelf authentic bone artifacts. I purchased this bone bear carving many years ago from Michael Steele, Who's Who and publisher of Prehistoric Antiquities. It was found in PA. Michael purchased it from Len Weidner who authenticated and dated it. The patina is a gorgeous deep brown. It is 2 inches square. Have you ever seen another bone bear carving? This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

This incredible Columbia Plateau is 2 1/8" long. It is made from semi-translucent carnelian agate . It was found by Ernie Cowles in the 1930's. Of his vast collection of over 5,000 points, he stated this was his favorite. Ernie was a member of the Oregon Archaeological Society and was profiled in "Who's Who in Indian Relics", Vol. 3, 1972. Yellow and red agate is extremely rare especially in arrowheads and highly sought after by collectors...
