Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta creature head. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This head is quite unique depicting an alien or lizard person . Size 1.5" by 1.5"

Mexican Pre Columbian Terracotta Statue arms with Offerings. Nice formed arms from a good sized figure. The Arms out stretched each holding a tall sided bowl with some kind of fruit or food. Size L 5" H 1.5" matching set great as mounted display pieces.

This early pre-classic olmecoid figure dates from approximately 1250 BCE to 800BCE it measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/2".Mineral deposits and root marks. The head has been reattached. The figure was in the collection of Robert Ruark, the highly acclaimed writer and acquired from Arte Primitivo.

Three Aztec pipes were sold at Sotheby's auction on March 23rd, 2013 for $12,890. None were as near as nice as this one or even the other three I have for sale here. A superb quality ancient Pre-Columbian, Chorrera, ca. 9th–5th century B.C. Effigy vessel. A flat -bottomed compound vessel with a raised neck, slightly flared rim and three Anthropomorphic / Zoomorphic heads protruding from the shoulders, equidistantly positioned to provide a sense of balance to the overall composition of the vessel.

Details of the visages are nicely incised and delineated in repousse. Boasts a lovely redware finish and nice burnishing marks...

Pre Columbian Period Moche Feline head vessel. North Coast Peru, 450 - 700 AD. A love two colour pottery vessel in the form of a feline (animal - jaguar?) head and a trompet-shaped spout.

The cat fierce looking with barred teeth.

Condition: Choice!, intact with a micro chip under the spout, mentioned only to be 100% correct. Fine old collection patina.

Relics of the nile is pleased to present this Mayan bowl from Guatemala, ca. 500 - 800 AD. The bowl features solid color with an excellent, detailed design of chiefs that repeats around the circumference of the piece. The bowl remains in solid condition and the body remains intact with the exception of some chipping on the rim that has been slightly repaired in one place. The bowl measures 6" in diameter and has evidence of extensive usage, good root marks and mineral deposits.

Impressive pottery stamp seal carved with 4 birds (Flamingos?) over a geomethric panel, Pre-Columbian, Chancay, 12th.-15th. century AD.

The stamp is completely intact and massive! There's a projecting spike on the back.

A rare representation of an Opussum on a stirrup pottery vessel, Pre-columbian, Vicús Culture 100 BC. - 300 AD.

Very attractive sculpturing in redish clay.

Condition: Choice for type and culture, a long hairline repaired crack through the vessel, othervise intact in all it's parts. Vicüs vessels are usually always cracked and this an honest piece that could be restored so that this crack is not visible with little effort...

This stunning miniature Colima warrior is 1 1/2" tall. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. The figure was acquired in Mexico in the mid-20th century and is attributed to the Colima horizon, c.300BC-300AD.collection. The right arm has been cleanly broken and glued together. A fabulous little beauty.
