This is an extroadinarily rare Aztec ceramic pipe. There are only 3 others of this earliest type known to exist. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin on 12/2/60 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. The end of the stem has been broken off and appears to have been glued back on. This is not the prettiest of the 4 pipes I have listed, but it is the oldest likened unto Paleo vs. Archaic. I have what I believe to be the largest and finest collection of Aztec pipes in private hands.

A 4 figure group of Pre-Columbian textile dolls, ca. AD 1100 - 1450. They are attached to a 6 in cushion made from cotton, is stuffed with a variety of plant and animal fibers and retains its carrying strap. Each doll is made from different cloth.

A large and heavy carving in emerald of an Eagle Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of a Native tribes leader, carved on both sides of the stone. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

A polychrome Hopi wicker tray circa 1920-1930. Depicting a Palik Mana wearing an elaborate tableta and a woman's shawl. On the back of the tray there is an uncommon reversal of the image which shows the figure's backside. It is also rare in that the entire body is shown, rather than just the face. Exceptional Type 10 Mezcala Figure. 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" CA. 1500-300 B.C. This very mint gray stone figure has no modern day chips or marks, it does have the classic upper top of the head fracture area. This figure has a very nice plumpness to it. It comes with a custom made black metal stand. Mineral and root marks over all.

A coin silver cigar band with a primitive, stamped, coin-silver button ring, circa 1890-1900. Similar examples of this button can be found in, "Indian Silver Jewelery of the Southwest 1868-1930," by Larry Frank. Page 66, item 68 shows a very similar set of six stamped buttons with a high domed centers circa 1890s, found at Hopi in 1911.
