Amazing massive ushabti of the finest style of the Late period, Egypt, 26th - 30th Dynasty, approx. 664 - 332 BC.

Shown mummiform, this exceptional large and beautiful Ushabti, still untranslated, probably represents an important nobleman. As quite rarely seen, the othervise greenish faience, came out as almost black in the kiln, so it looks almost like basalt, very attractive!

The Wedjat Eye is open-worked, the two-coloured side is convex and the other flat.

The molds include a well defined rosette, a seated figure, scepter, collar element, figure of Bes, a scarab and an ankh. Each mold looks to have been used with remains of faience paste inside. Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this Egyptian green faience amulet of a standing deity. The figure stands erect with the traditional pose featuring the hands at the side. The back is supported by a full dorsal pillar and features a completely intact suspension hole. The figure is worn, but is likely of the standing god Horus, in falcon form. The lower portion of the figure has been lost as well, however the amulet still measures a splendid 1" in height...

An ancient Egyptian faience shabti for Psamtik. Standing on an integral plinth against an inscribed back pillar, with prominent facial details, depicted mummiform with the arms crossing his chest, his hands emerging from his tightly fitting garment, holding hoes, a seed sack over his left shoulder, wearing a tripartite headcloth and a braided beard. 4 inches high. Repaired. Purchased on the Belgian art market. Said to be from an old German collection.

Large pale green Djed pillar amulet with high shaft and four horizontal bars. Delicate ropes delineated around the shaft immediately below the lowest bar.
The narrow column on the back is not pierced.
The Djed pillar amulet was connoted with stability and endurance and supposed to confer these qualities to the deceased.
The amulet was placed for magical protection over the throat of the deceased on the day of burial...

A very rare and interesting large fragment of a sculptural torquise blue faience vessel with moulded decoration, Egypt, probably Amarna period, 14th. century BC.

The fragment represent up to 40% of what was once a hemispheric low bowl with pseudo handles and black and torquise glaze. Moulded decoration of large snake and the tail of another which would have adorned the other side.

Size: 13-14 cm. long.

A T-shaped column of incised text at the front reads: "Illuminate the Osiris, Horpenaset, born of Asetshesen". 30th Dynasty, 365 -332 B.C. 4 3/8 inches high. Intact. Mounted. An above average large/thick Ushabti, Third Intermediate Period, 21/22th dynasty (ca 1085-713BC)

A blue-green faience shabti, wearing the headband and two hoes. Inscribed shabti with clear hieroglyphs at the lower front. Details are added in black.

Size: 105 mm. tall and comes with it's old wooden base, 16,6 cm. total.

Condition: Choice with intact painted details and nice patina. Much uncleaned deposits.

Bright blue faience shabti inscribed with black hieroglyphs reading: “The Osiris Nes-Mut”.
Curiously, the epithet Osiris is noted here in retrograde writing in relation to the name.
The figurine wears a tripartite wig with a frontal band tied at the back. The face shows barely visible eyes and eyebrows. The arms are crossed and the hands hold two colored hoes. The seed bag behind is held by straps.

This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.
I think it looks a little bit Nubian, than it is 25th Dynasty. I can not find any parallel of a
comparable faience throne, so it has to be extremely rare.

Ancient Egyptian Blue Faience Amulet Lion-Goddess Sekhmet 1200-300 BC Authentic ancient Egyptian ca. 1200-300 B.C blue glaze faience amulet of Sekhmet, the lion-goddess, standing in a long gown with a necklace draping down her chest, hands at her side. She wears on her head the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt.

She was both a fierce lioness and the goddess of medicine connected with the soothing of illness and warding off trouble in general.
