Amazing massive ushabti of the finest style of the Late period, Egypt, 26th - 30th Dynasty, approx. 664 - 332 BC.

Shown mummiform, this exceptional large and beautiful Ushabti, still untranslated, probably represents an important nobleman. As quite rarely seen, the othervise greenish faience, came out as almost black in the kiln, so it looks almost like basalt, very attractive!

Size: 21,5 cm. tall...

Authentic complete, still very bright paint and in very good condition for its age. Exceptional drawings. No restoration. Has been resting in an acrylic custom case which can be picked up by buyer is so desired. Some photos have a glare due to the acrylic case.. Photo 1 shows Osiris with 2 Papyrus pillars and cobras. And underneath a winged Isis holding 2 Ankhs and 2 reclining jackals on her wings...

Very attractive fully polished surfaces and symethric.

A very rare and interesting large fragment of a sculptural torquise blue faience vessel with moulded decoration, Egypt, probably Amarna period, 14th. century BC.

The fragment represent up to 40% of what was once a hemispheric low bowl with pseudo handles and black and torquise glaze. Moulded decoration of large snake and the tail of another which would have adorned the other side.

Size: 13-14 cm. long.

An ancient Egyptian white steatite scarab, with finely engraved anatomical features such as clypeus, prothorax and elytra. The reverse is detailed with hieroglyphs, including the engraved depiction of a beetle scarab with the sun disk, a basket, a feather of Maat and a papyrus stem. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.

Painting on Egyptian pottery is not very common before the New Kingdom (1550-1069 BC), but appears often in the late 18th Dynasty. This blue-decorated pottery was first recognised on a bigger scale at the palace of king Amenhotep III (1388-1351/50 BC)...

A lovely piece with pyramidal tappering sides to a short rectangular base. Hollowed from extensive use.

Condition: Good Very fine and intact with tiny nicks and ancient wear.

Shabti for Tchahorpata

Tchahorpata wears a smooth wig, has his arms crossed on his chest and holds in his hands the tools, hoe and hand plow, as well as a string on which the bag with the seeds hangs on his back. The curved beard of the gods is typical of all figures since the XXVI century. Dynasue. The body has a framed veracal column and an inscribed inscription stating the name and title of the deceased...

A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!

Finely polished and symethrically drilled and measuring 4,7 cm. in diameter. Old black reg. number from collection or museum inventory, 'Æ27'.

Condition: Nice very fine, intact with minor spots of corrosion and fine patina.

A nice Egyptian wooden painted figure of a Falcon, Late period, c. 660-332 BC.

Comes with a low lucite base, total 6,3 cm. tall. Old black ink number on the head.

Condition: Very fine for the material, smaller losses, preserved pigments.
