Carved and polished in a beautiful glossy dark green stone and finely engraved with an interesting scene, which looks like mating between two odd animals, the male jumping and the female horned. Above the star symbols of Ashur and crescent Nanna/Sin. Nanna was associated with cattle, perhaps due to the perceived similarity between bull horns and the crescent moon, which makes perfect sense considering the scene on this ...

Very large for the type and engraved with a finely carved winged and horned animal. On the other side was an engraving of Ashur that was deliberately partly erased in antiquity! So the removing of Ashur would have been done by enemies of the Assyrians.

The scarab of a bifacial style where the upperside is engraved with a vivid Sun motif and the base engraved with two animals.
