An interesting and well-engraved seal ring made of an alloy of bronze and silver end probably once gilt, Sasanian, c. 4th.-5th. century AD.

The ring engraved with a very nice enface portrait of a Sasanian king. Cleaned but retaining some patina. The ring has a closed hairline crack at the back, othervise intact.

Size: The ring is c. 25 mm. wide.

A fine late socketed Javelin for throwing, Assyrian-Achaemenid period. Attractive javelin with rounded shoulders and a defined central midrib. The socket about two thirds of the total lenght of c. 17 cm.

Condition: Very fine. Beautiful reddish patina.

A large and beautiful dark green patinated tanged bronze short sword from Ancient Near East dating to the early 1st. mill BC. Commonly termed 'Luristani' by dealers and collectors.

An elaborate and cast sword blade in a quite broad design. Round shoulders and two prominent central midribs running in the full length of the blade.

Size is c. 37,4 cm.

Condition: Choice - some roughness to the edges. The patina is nice and smooth, dark green.

Incense burner in copper alloy (cast bronze and embossed and cut brass). Oriental work from the 19th century or before. Probably Ottoman but maybe Syrian? The hinge was consolidated by a riveted piece of metal and one of the three feet was replaced as one of the photos shows? The three legs are fixed to the base by a system of finely executed 'butterfly' nuts. The assembly is slightly twisted as can be seen in the photos. Height: 25cm Diameter: 20cm

A very nice and quite interesting cylinder seal in a hard black stone with white inclusions on one side, Late-Assyrian to Neo-Assyrian period, c. 12th. cent.-9th. cent. AD.

A wonderful depiction of a 'Scorpioman' and a 'fishman', both depicted as winged matured men with long beards and pointy hats or helmets. Their lower bodies evolve into a fishtail and a scorpions tail. All within a heering pattern border.
