An ancient Egyptian white steatite scarab, with finely engraved anatomical features such as clypeus, prothorax and elytra. Scarabs empowered life and resurrection and were often placed under mummy wrappings to protect the body and help it resurrect. This Scarab comes in a jewelry display cup.

It is covered with a fine salt glaze.
