Such and early European iron key is not something you will see on the market every day. A complicated slot with a cross and a round bow, typical for the medieval period.

The key can be dated to the 13th.-14th. century, Northern European.

The body is decorated with three medallions depicting a woman. A type called Trichterhalskrug in German. This stoneware pitcher was made in the Siegburg region in the 15th/16th century. A large and attractive stone jar, Mesopotamia, Sumer c. 2800-2400 BC.

With the finely concave walls, similar to a jar found in the Royal tombs of Queen Puabi, 2600-2450 BC and jars from Jiroft in this period, dates this jar to the Sumerian period.

The stone used is a rare and very lovely pink calcite, some of the colour probably patina. the stone is banded in clear bands and semi-transperant when lighted. With cream inclusions.
