Egyptian terracotta fragment of Harpocrates riding a horse, whose mane can be guessed on the right.
The youthful god is dressed in a short tunic and wears a stippled floral wreath topped by the Egyptian double crown. Harpokrates is shown with the right forefinger to his mouth.
Harpokrates was the infant son of Isis and Horus and symbolized both youth and fertility...

Egyptian head with side lock, probably of Harpokrates, the infant son of Isis and Horus.
The face shows almond shaped eyes, a flattish nose, and slit mouth. The well preserved left ear appears just below the partially present side lock. The neck slightly bent to the figure’s left side.
The head most likely belongs to an ithyphallic limestone figure. For a related example, cf. acc. no. ST58 in the British Museum database.

A massive bowl, likely a food bowl for really large parties. The bowl almost completely covered with fine azurite patina on the exterior and when cleaned would reveal the fine design of incised circles-dots (bulls-eye), likely hexacons as well.

In an old Danish collection we found these three harvesting tools in patinated silex that goes so well together in this lot.

Condition: Extremely fine to about Mint conditions, with nice patinas!

A very large and well-made flanged Javelin head, Danish stoneage, Neolithic period, Daggertime, latest fase, after 2000 BC.

The head is knapped in the parallel style, othervise only known from the fine daggers of the period, with flanges and with microchipping towards the edges.

Size: c. 7 cm. long.

Condition: Intact and choice with a few micro ancient losses. Fine white and calsified patina.

The shield with a fine depiction of a myth where Zeus transformns into an eagle, lifting Ganymedes. Fine high relief artwork with nice details.

A pair of ancient pendant from the Egyptian late-Ptolemaic Period, after 600 BC.

Both amulets are pierced horisontically to be worn as pendants. One is of the seated Bastet as a Cat (2,1 cm.), the other is a head of a human god or Pharao (2,5 cm.).

Warm brownish gloss with fingermarks around the base, where held during dipping.
Similar bowls are known from southern Italy, notably eastern Lucania, northern Apulia and Campania.

A pair of silver bowls with great potential for repairing, Sasanian, c. 3td.-6th. century AD.

Lot includes a hammered bowl with fine decoration in repousé and a larger crack and loss, plus another hammered bowl without decor with a small crack and loss. Both bowls are hammered in rather thin silver and uncleaned with some green encrustation.

A nice lot that can be much more valuable when finely restored!

A rare and exceptionally large Iron lock with key, from a gate or massive door, South-Germany, Late renaissance period, 16th. century.

A very early lock with finely preserved locking mechanism. A snap lock with two bolts for extra security. The lock comes with it's lovely large iron key, with remnants of cobber.

Size: The lock 34 cm. long and the impressive key is 18,8 cm. wide, weighing ca. 725 grams.
