A pair of strictly museum quality massive gothic candlesticks, probably Nuremberg / Nürnberg, renaissance, c. 1500-1550 AD.

These very large pricket canbelabras, probably for ecclesiastical use, doesn't come much better than this present pair. Stepped domed feet, baluster-shaped stems with flaring sockets. The prickets in iron.

Size: The candlesticks measure impressive 36 cm. in height and the bases are 14 cm. wide...

An early pale yellow-green mold blown bottle of mallet shape. The conical neck with two narrow rings at the top and a knop-like bulge at the bottom. At the shoulder of the bottle is a molded brown tinted circle. The bottle body is decorated with three raised circular reserves, each with a flower within, and surrounded by radiating leaves.

This very rare bottle has survived its long burial without damage...

The vase consists of two identical small juglets (bilbils) joined together at body, excellent workmanship and decoration, dark gray metallic burnish, a fine creation of the master potter in a period when pottery making reached a peak of achievement.

This is a museum quality example of a very rare word type from the ancient middle East.It has a hollow cast, mushroom shaped pommel and a heavy, crescent shaped guard. The blade is long and heavy with several blood grooves cast into it. There are no signs of repair or restoration to this amazing piece of ancient history.
