A very rare and exceptionally large Islamic Vase, ca. 12th.-14th. century.
The vase very impressive in size and beautiful classic tulip form. Green-glazed red ceramic.
Size: 26,5 cm. tall and ca. 26 cm. wide. Very heavy construction.
Condition: Choice and intact, with some loss to glaze in parts. Fine iridescent patina.
Provenance: Dr. Günther Marschall collection (1913-1997).
A nice and rare pottery lamp of a late Roman / Byzantine type, with inscriptions on the body, ca. 5th.-7th. century AD.
Interesting and intact lamp with only minor wear and small chips.

Attractive female idol carved from a hollowed-out bone. The face is dominated by huge, round eyes and a small nose and mouth. The artist has also carved a round belly and female genitals.

A beautifully carved sculpture of a lady in an erotic pose, Gandharan, ca. 1st.-5th. century AD.
Clearly inspired by classical greek and roman art. She is holding her longs strands of hair and wearing garments that exposes her naked shoulder and arm. Archictorial piece, impresive size. Some remnants of pinkish pigments still on the surface. Mounted to a metal base.

An interestion and rare bronze battleaxe, European, late bronzeage-early Ironage period, 1st. millenium BC.
A beautiful axe, long slender type with mounting hole to the back and a slightly curving blade.
Size: 13,5 cm. long
Condition: Superb, fine green patina with a dusting of earthern encrustations.
This axe comes from a find in Germany and was offcially exported with a license.
