Antique pair of silver and enamel finger nail guards, worn by wealthy ladies to protect their long finger nails and show that they did not need to work with their hands, made all of pierced repouse silver and decorated with motifs of birds, flowers and fruit, 19th century.

Antique Chinese jewelry box with an allover design of cloisonné butterflies and flowers. The natural patina of the metal has a wonderful blueish enamel with butterfly designs. The interior is lined in red and blue felt.

A fine example of an early 20th century Chinese enamel cloisonné baluster form vase decorated with intricate foliate and vine patterns in an arabesque style design. The pattern, in shades of blue, is displayed over a pale turquoise ground accented by gold gilt base and neck. In excellent condition, it measures 12.5" high

A Chinese Canton enamel dish vividly panted with two cockerels beside flowers issuing from rockwork within a border of plum flowers, cracked ice, ruyi heads and waves, the reverse with three flower sprays. Qianlong, 18th century. 23 cms diam.
One small area of restoration to the white on the back of the rim. Otherwise in good condition bar the odd usual stress crack.

Chinese cloisonné and bronze figure of a standing cockerel. Flourishes of elaborate plumage are decorated with scrolling vines and tiny circles of colorful enamel on a turquoise blue ground. The feet of the rooster are connected to the lid of an oval shaped box which is decorated to match the cloisonné on the body of the rooster.

These extremely decorative pair of food containers are beautifully ornamented. A turquoise background, these cloisonne containers model a beautiful array of blue, yellow, and red shades of swirling chimera and flower design. Made of bronze, The containers have one compartment each. Lid opens at top. The "shou" symbol on lids represent longevity.

A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908).
