A heavily cast Chinese gold splash bronze two-handled bombe censer on slightly flared foot. Some wear, good old patina. 13 cms wide. Mid Qing dynasty, probably 18th century, Xuande mark.

Chinese 18th Century bronze censer. The base cast with a sixteen-character inscription incorporating an apocryphal Xuande date, reading Da Ming Xuande wunian Jiandu Gongbu guanchen Wu Bangzuo zao (Made by Wu Bangzuo, supervisor of the Ministry of Works, in the 5th year of Xuande of the Great Ming). 26,5cm wide. 6458 gram weight.

Funeral mirror of circular shape decorated with an adorned square at its center, surrounded by symbols, and with a geometric design in relief around its rim. Bronze, with a nice slightly encrusted red and green patina. China, Han Dynasty. Diameter: 8.9 cm. Very good condition. NOTE: this mirror is part of a small collection of funeral mirrors collected many years ago that we are starting to offer presently.

Height approximately 18 cm. A dent at the rim. In good condition.

Of circular form, with a pedestal foot, with side lion-mask handles, decorated with carved designs of animals in continuous panels along the rim of the exterior, the foot decorated with openwork and carved floral design.

A large and attractive bronze figure of Buddha, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), late 15th-16th. century AD.

A high quality laquered and gilt bronze figure of Buddha with a crown of Buddhas on top of his head and exceptional sculptured and engraved detailos to his robe and the Lotus Throne. Swastika symbol on his chest. The buddha is laquered and gilt with much old gilt still preserved.
