Antique Chinese bronze censer with oval form body, high neck and rounded rectangular mouth. Standing on four feet with heads of mythical creatures. A band with a swirling motif in low relief encircles the middle of the censer. The neck of the censer is also decorated with a wave motif in a band of low relief. The lid is pierced for incense smoke and topped with a sitting Qilin.

The exterior is finely hand chiseled in relief with two Qiulong horned dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst flames and the clouds on the chased ground, bordered by two bands incised with a Greek key pattern...

Very rare antique Chinese 17th century,Ming dynasty, small hand warmer with cover signed by Zhang Mingqi (張鳴崎). Made of copper alloy in the oval cushion form, set with a conforming swing handle, the slightly domed cover cast is finely hand pierced with an intricate pattern(trelliswork) with a surface patinated to a warm honey-brown tone.

The flat base is incised with the maker's mark, Zhang Mingqi, in Zhuanshu script as a square seal...
