Above the scenery, a four line inscription. Two character mark beneath. The rim is protected by a bronze circle, but this is not meant to hide any blemish. China, Qing Dynasty. Height: 3,3 cm. A moulded porcelain chrysanthemum shaped bowl decorated on the outside in blue and white enamels with stylized scrolling lotus flowers and bats 'Fu' (good luck). Incorporated within this pattern are three overglaze red and gold 'Shou' (long life) characters. The base carries the iron red reign mark of the Daoguang emperor (1821-1850). This item was made in China, in the mid 19th Century, for export to the Malaysian "Straits" Chinese community...

Chinese Song dynasty five-petal foliate form bowl covered in a pale creamy-celadon qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops above the unglazed flat base. The glaze is thicker and more of a celadon color where is drips down from the top edge into the interior. Circa 13th century. 6” diameter x 1 7/8” high. Good overall condition. There are a few tiny nicks to the unglazed edge and there are glaze losses to the outer edge that might have occurred in the kiln...

A lovely, small, rare, middle Ming dish ( fifteenth century ) decorated in underglaze blue with a bird. The representation of the bird very attractive and swinging. The extraordinary strong resp. deep Cobalt blue of this dish is very nice. Diameter : 9,7 cm. Condition : No chip, no crack, the glaze of this excavated piece slightly degraded by aggressive soil.

Set of 3 “Socialist Kitsch”, porcelain brush pots with green Jingdezhen “China” marks inside the “bi” shaped footrims, circa 1960s-1970s. These all have the same mark and same dimensions H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 8.4cm/3.2in. Relatively good Jingdezhen quality porcelain, and simple polychrome decorations with revolutionary slogans. These were meant for mass consumption but amazingly little of it remains today...

Underglaze blue Kangxi Mark to the base. Diameter : 13,3 cm. Condition : Perfect with minor wear to the enameled decoration.
