Chinese porcelain basin decorated with peony, phoenix, butterfly and other motifs in famille verte (wucai) enamel. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Condition: there is one 1/4" chip on the rim, no other flaw other than this. Diameter: 11-1/2"; height: 2-3/4".

Decorated in white slip with stylised chrysanthemum sprays to the centre, within a border of blossoming sprays and foliage. 16th/17th Century 38 cm. diam. No chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

Chinese porcelain hat stand, of hexagonal section and lobed openings, enameled with shrimp and water reeds, titled xiaqu, with cyclical date jisi, bearing the signature Deng Bishan at Zhushan, the base with a studio mark. These cups all have slightly flaring sides and are well-potted with thin rims. The sides are decorated with a repeating floral design in underglaze cobalt blue. The bases are glazed and the narrow footrings are unglazed, exposing the fine, white porcelain body. A hairline crack can be seen on the one of the cups, approximately one inch long, otherwise they are in good condition.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Censer, 3 1/4" high, 7" diameter-top rim, 3 5/8" diameter-bottom rim, Ca. between 1880 - 1920, with underglaze blue bands of geometric Chinese symbol decoration outside, inside half way down is unglazed. Bottom outside is unglazed with some black script. The condition is good, no damage.
