This 18th century tea bowl and matching saucer is vibrantly decorated in the naturalistic / botanical Meissein style.

A quite large perfect potted jarlet, glazed with an nice bluegreen "Guan" glaze. The piece is very decorative because of the color of the Celadon glaze and the striking and unusual deep crackles in the glaze ( please look at the enlargements )

Height of Teapot 4 3/8" (11.2cm). Diameter of stand 5 1/4" (13.3cm). Condition: excellent, no frits, chips, cracks or restoration. Collection label attached with sealing wax.

Chinese Blue and White Dish decorated in underglaze blue with a Dutch river scene. A copy of the Japanese Arita C1700 dishes decorated with a version of the design by the Dutch Delft decorator Frederik Van Frytom. The English Bow factory also copied this design in the mid 18thC. Qianlong C1740/50. Diameter 4 3/4" (12.1cm) Perfect condition.
