Fine Antique Chinese 18th. century Qing-Period Bronze seated GuanYin on Lotus throne with buddhistic characters.
This lovely Guan Yin statue shows Guan Yin holding the bottle of life in one hand and a droplet of water in a form of a water ball in another hand. Her face is serene and peaceful.
Hand polished bronze in perfect condition, with some old age wears.

Here we like to offer you a 100 year old bronze Guan Yin Statue (kwan yin) from China with traces of gildet laquer. It is sold together with its wooden stand.
She is riding a foo lion / fu dog and is holding a droplet of water in her left hand.
The Guan Yin is in good condition. It has no repairs and shows only some wears of age, which emphasizes the antique charakter.

Over 110 years old Chinese Buddha head mounted on a high class wood base.
It is made of fine natural stone and has a nice patina. This mounted statue is part of the Van Norten Collection since 60 years and has been exhibited in our private house since then. Wonderful, age related condition.

This is a Tibeto-Chinese bronze Buddha from the 19th. century. It has a unique design with lots of miniature Buddhas applicated.
Rests of gilt are still visible.

We offer from our private exhibition a Tibeto-Chinese large and heavy gilt bronze four faced Amitayus Buddha from the late Qing Dynasty ( 1644 - 1912 ).
The Amitayus ( Bodhisattva of Longevity ) is seated on double-lotus throne in dhyanasana and with both hands in dhyanamudra.
The statue is 17,1 inches high and 7,5kg heavy!
It is marked and in great condition.

Up for sale from our private Buddha collection is this bronze gilt Guanyin with a well carved six-character Xuande Mark.
She is seated in rajalilasana with an expression of peace and serenity. The Guan Yin is wearing a tiara and loose robes falling over the shoulders with lots of images.
Please notice the rare throne with its face on the arm rest and the claws on the base of the throne. Very seldom and rare.

Large Chinese Guanyin made of Jade, with changing jade colours from light green to green, yellow, grey and black, the figure is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus flower, one hand holding a bottle of elixir and the other hand raised in apan mudra.
The artist has put together three pieces of jade, the buddha, the crown and the lotus seat to a spectacular Guanyin statue with very detailed carvings...A very rare yab-yum bronze from the end of the 19th. century ( Qing Dynasty 1644 - 1912 ), acquired for the van Norten collection in the early 30's of the last century in Sichuan showing the male deity in sexual union with his female consort. Yab-yum means Tibetan literally 'father - mother'.
The statue presents a great amount of detailed wealth...
This is a fine bronze Buddhist votive shrine from the middle of the 19th. century ( Qing ) continuing the tradition of the Northern Wei Dynasty. The shrine has four splayed legs cast with an inscription and is cast in relief with a seated figure of Buddha.
As you can see, it is in good condition.
