1900's Chinese White Jade Carved Silver Filigree Snuff Bottle with Amethyst Stopper

It is 2.6 inches (6.7 cm) tall by 2 inches (5.1 cm) wide. It is 113.2 gram.

It is tarnished and has surface wears and scratches. The jade and amethyst have inclusions and surface wears (as seen in the photos).

19th century Chinese lacquer snuff bottle in flask form with inlaid lac burgaute reserves on each side depicting a flower sprig and brocade patterns surrounding the reserve. Lac Burgaute is a French term describing a lacquer technique with inlaid designs using small shapes of iridescent blue-green and purple abalone shell and gold and silver foil.
