A Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century Qingbai type vase, decorated with iron brown spots. these are a mark on the base, unfortunately become paler. Fujian province ware. Condition with a crack to mouth rim and fritting mouth, glaze degraded, otherwise in good condition. Height; 11,5 cm.

Lovely Song dynasty celadon plate with ribbed, muted Lotus leaf design on the outside. It is nicely shaped without cracks or chips, but some wear to glaze at bottom through use. High resolution images on request. Diameter: 8.50 inches, Height 2 inches.

Song Dynasty, ca. 900/1000

Glazed with a clear glaze of slight greenish tone over a buff porcelanous stoneware body. It rests on a medium-tall footring with a base that is carved in the Song manner to a subtle point at its center. The interior has a carved rib design that is partially obscured by the glaze. An unglazed ring, exposing the greyish buff paste encircles the interior of the base. The bowl is in very good condition with no restorations, chips or cracks...

This is a large ceramic pillow in the form of a cat, done in cream and brown colors, in old Cizhou Kiln style. The ceramic cat pillow measures about 13" long x 7" tall, and dates to the turn of the 20th Century. There is a Chinese "Cultural Properties" wax stamp on the cat's back. Pair of small Ming dynasty Longquan celadon vases of compressed pear-form with flaring foliate form mouth decorated on opposing sides with low moulded relief leafy floral decoration. A pair of s-shaped handles are on each side of the neck. The celadon glaze with olive tint ends at the slightly flaring unglazed foot which has burnt orange from firing. The recessed base is glazed. Song Dynasty green celadon bowl with flower incised pattern in bottom of bowl. Deep heavy base. No chips, however, there are noticeable hairlines in glaze. Diameter: 5.50 inches; height: 2.75 inches.

19th century Chinese underglaze blue storage jar with calligraphy. In excellent condition, no cracks, no hairlines, no chips. Measures 4 inches high, 3.5" diameter.

Tall Chinese Song dynasty brown glazed tapering form horizontal ribbed vase. The glaze was poured into the interior while the top shoulder of the jar was left unglazed. 14” high. Circa 13th century. The unglazed base has significant grit adhering from the kiln which causes the vase to be slightly slanted and a bit unstable. There are small chips along the rolled mouth. The form of this vase would eventually develop into the better known meiping vase...

Charming Cizhou style ceramic pillow as a cat, circa late Qing to Republic period in perfect condtion! Great expression- captures the way a cat can gaze so intently at something while appearing calm- as if it is about to pounce on an unsuspecting prey. Richly glazed in deep blue this Chinese jar has a dark brown glazed interior to accommodate liquid storage. The lid has an embossed Chinese symbol for longevity which suggests to me the jar's intent was to store something special for your health and well being.
