Chinese Longquan celadon vase in olive fruit shape with a swelling mid-section incised with the cloud motif, it's' foot covered with brown slip and unglazed, measures 24.5 cm Height and 13.5cm diameter, of the Ming dynasty. The vase has a firing flaw on mouth rim and otherwise in good condition.

This is a Ming dynasty small ribbed longquan dish. It stands on a shallow recessed footrim showing the orngish burn ungaled recess. From the foot rim, it everted stright upward with a ribbed outer body. In the center of the dish, there is a faint outline of an impressed single stalk of lotus flower.

Beautiful glaze with fine crackle, central register with excellent free painting of stylized Precious Jewel reserves, pendant leaves around its mouth. Very strong piece, has wonderful presence.
