Chinese Longquan celadon vase in olive fruit shape with a swelling mid-section incised with the cloud motif, it's' foot covered with brown slip and unglazed, measures 24.5 cm Height and 13.5cm diameter, of the Ming dynasty. The vase has a firing flaw on mouth rim and otherwise in good condition.

Chinese green glazed noodle making bowl, 5" high-maximum height, 8" diameter-top, green glazed, early part of 1900's. This is the bowl making home made noodle in the kitchen. Push the dough into the holes, and become instant noodle coming out of the holes. Incised Chinese Character mark on the bottom "Great". No major damages, there are some wear and tear from the use in the kitchen for many years.

Chinese Tang Period (or earlier) chicken head ewer; wear to glaze

Description:
This is a Ming dynasty small ribbed longquan dish. It stands on a shallow recessed footrim showing the orngish burn ungaled recess. From the foot rim, it everted stright upward with a ribbed outer body. In the center of the dish, there is a faint outline of an impressed single stalk of lotus flower.

The jar comes from an old Japanese collection, this type of stoneware is known as Swatow ware, but more correctly named as Zhangzhou ware from Fujian province. Beautiful glaze with fine crackle, central register with excellent free painting of stylized Precious Jewel reserves, pendant leaves around its mouth. Very strong piece, has wonderful presence. Height 2 1/4 inches, diameter 2 1/4 inches.
