A lovely Chinese Tang dynasty green glaze censer burner. Unlike Snacai glazes are lead glaze, the glaze of this censer is more milky like Jun glaze, that's why I am thinking this censer is from Changsha kiln but can't 100% sure. Glaze run through the area that seems like damaged on mouth rim and two cracks under it, so those are manufacture failure. Ht. 8.5cm. Condition: no chip, no restore, in good condition as shown. Set of 4 interesting Chinese Yuan dynasty brown glaze dishes with sea wave decorations and unknown scripts, most likely Phags pa script, an alphabet designed by the Tibetan monk and State Preceptor as a unified script for the written languages within the Yuan. The actual use of this script was limited to about a hundred years during the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty, and it fell out of use with the advent of the Ming dynasty.(Wikipedia)...

Statuette of a Chinese deity, probably Guan-yin. It is carved from a block of light beige, nuanced soapstone. She holds a basket in her hand which contains a fish. The facial expression indicates an old style prior to the 20th century. It is a sculpture from the Qing period, probably from the 19th century, but perhaps earlier. The soft stone is normally worn for a century-old object...

Quirky Cizhou type, heavy, completely black glazed, waisted beaker from circa Ming Dynasty. Possibly this was used in a Chinese Apothecary, but this is just a best guess to its function. The hole on the bottom was made prior to firing and is part of the original design. Lovely thick glaze and aside from a couple of chips on the outside of the foot, in very good condition. H: 13cm/5.1in- width at base : 8.7cm/3.8in and width at mouthrim : 11cm/4.3in.

It is an astonishing vase which does not resemble anything known. The shape is very elegant and the decor simple but powerful. But I have absolutely no idea what it is. It is probably buffed sandstone rather than terracotta. The decoration presents a dragon in slight relief pursuing the sacred pearl. The decoration seems to me molded rather than sculpted. A cream glaze covers the whole, stained with brown iron oxide...
