Heavy and solidly potted Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form porcelain jar decorated in the transitional style in underglaze blue with lotus flower heads among dense scrolling foliage set against a white ground. A border extends around the short, white glazed upright neck. The interior is fully glazed. 19th century. 12” high. Weighs 8 lbs. Very good overall condition. A beautiful Chinese famille rose porcelain footed bowl surrounded with men, women, and children in an outdoor setting. Inside, the bowl are 3 small insects. A rouge-de-fer or copper red tea cup with the longevity motive. It has Tonzhi seal mark on the cover as well as the base of cup and is of the period.

Generally in good condition and has only a hair line as shown in picture 6. No chip, crack or repair.

A matched pair of bronze champleve candlesticks of enamel inlay, wonderfully colorful and well patinated from age, these late 19th century candlesticks are in unrestored and perfect condition. These oriental candlesticks are highly decorative and would set off that perfect rustic atmosphere. They measure 9 inches each.

A genuine Guangxu Da Ya Zhai Porcelain Turquoise Bowl (1875-1908) with period markings and a lobed rim. Size: H. 3.5" x 8" top diameter and 3" bottom diameter. Antique Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with cylindrical form, decorated with a scene of a water dragon in waves. Intricate and fine line details and expressive movement in the dragon and in the watery background. The dragon is painted in iron-red glaze and the waves in blue. The tall, white glazed neck is topped with a small jade lid. The long spoon is made of bone.

An unusual late 19th C Chinese teapot of quatrefoil form applied with a bamboo form spout set opposite a bamboo handle. Decorated around the sides in shades of blue and white enamel with flower heads on mint green scrolling foliage, the flattened cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a leaf form knop. A wonderful item for the collector of Chinese porcelains. Measures: 8" long, 4.25" wide, and 2.5" high.

Chinese porcelain famille verte floral bowl with birds; raised carved decoration; Guangxu mark to the base; good condition

Chinese porcelain basin decorated with peony, phoenix, butterfly and other motifs in famille verte (wucai) enamel. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Condition: there is one 1/4" chip on the rim, no other flaw other than this. Diameter: 11-1/2"; height: 2-3/4".

A very warm and appealing Chinese porcelain blue and white jar with swirling leaf and vine decoration similar to those produced during the Kangxi reign. This example dates to about 1880, late in the Qing dynasty.

The cobalt is fine quality and the design will bring pleasant moments of contemplation.

This Chinese antique wood carving was possibly part of an architectural structure or possibly from a piece of furniture. The wood is approximately 1.3 inches thick and retains much of the original finish though it is obviously worn in some areas. The tradition carvings of 2 dragons chasing the pearl is very well done. The piece is about 5 inches high and 17 inches long.
