The gold powder border is decorated with stylized chrysanthemums. The interior presents butterflies finely made in polychrome. A signature drawn in gold lacquer, in a cartouche, by Kinkozan. Important and rare bowl, large in size, scalloped in shape, with a small heel, from the Satsuma kilns. On a blue enamel background, the decoration represents cherry blossoms with a couple of peacocks among peonies inside. The whole is of a very good quality of gold and polychrome enamels. Meiji period (1868-1912). Signed Koshida. Diameter 18,5 cm height : 7 cm.
