The lady wears a large thick robe and has an imposing hairdress. She is wearing a purse front of her chest and is standing on a round plint. She is glazed in tourqouise and dark blue colours.

Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

A fine group of three gilt bronze belt plates, of slightly rectangular form, each bearing a decoration in relief representing a musician playing an instrument. Gilt bronze, with a nice patina, partly green, partly reddish. China, Tang dynasty. Dimensions: 3.1 x 3.2 cm. Very good condition

Ivory netsuke depicting a sitting monkey holding a peach, with the little one next to him stretching out his hand to ask for the fruit. Himotoshi is natural. Period: Meiji end of 19th century. Dimensions: 3.3 x 3.3 x 2.3 cm. Conservation status: Excellent condition

Ivory manju netsuke with inlays in the Shibayama technique depicting one of the seven Deities of good luck: Fukurokuju 福禄寿, god of knowledge and long life. The netsuke is signed Kōgyokusai 光玉齋 with ivory engraving on the back. Period: Meiji end of 19th century. Dimensions: 1.6 x 4.3 cm. Conservation status: Excellent condition

Ivory okimono depicting the goddess Kannon standing on a lotus flower. With her right hand she holds a koro while with her other hand she holds a jewel that grants her wishes. She signs Gyokushin 玉心 engraved on red lacquer under the base. Period: Meiji end of 19th century. Dimensions: 25 x 7 x 6 cm. Conservation status: Excellent condition

Ivory okimono, depicting a farmer with an Onagadori rooster and a child on his shoulder offering food to the rooster. The sculpture, carved from a single block, is finely engraved with details of the rooster's feathers and kimono. The Hōzan signature is engraved on red lacquer under the base. Period: Meiji end of 19th century. Dimensions: 27 x 8 x 6 cm. Conservation status: Excellent condition
