This short sword and matching scabbard from Bhutan is elaborately decorated. The knife handle or sword hilt has a leather cover which is detail with silver reposse and a coral bead. An antique Japanese Isho Tansu (Kimono chest) in 2 sections made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original iron hardware with a natural patina acquired over many years. Upper section has 3 drawers and lower section has 2 drawers with a removable base at the bottom. Very thick wood used throughout this chest. Side handles to each section for ease of transport.

Chinese Daoist painting on paper. The colors are still strong and vibrant. There is some creasing through out, but otherwise in good condition the painting measures: 27.5" long x 20". The whole scroll measures 74" long x 45.5" wide.

From the collection of Irwin Hersey, renowned author on Asian and primitive art, and publisher of the Primitive Art Newsletter in the 1970s. Irwin Hersey was an advisor to museums and prominent collectors, and vetted pieces for many of the international tribal art fairs and Asian art fairs.

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a smiling, robed man with a small child climbing onto his shoulders. The child holds onto pierced carving branches for support. The jade is of a grey-green tone with mossy green tones where various stacked objects have been carved.

Chinese Blackwood and gray color Natural mottled Marble top round Stool/table, later part of 1800's, 17 1/2" high, 13" diameter on top, carved apron with curved legs connected with stretchers, no nails were used, and shows some wood separations between joints, this stool is solid and heavy piece of furniture.
Chinese porcelain vase beautifully decorated with birds and flowers in "Qianjiangcai" style - a popular porcelain painting style during the second half of 19th century to the first 2 decades of 20th century. This late Qing dynasty vase is in excellent condition - the only flaw is a chip inside the foot rim. Height: 5-1/8"; width: 6".
Japanese small Tansu, Merchant chest, box, late Meiji period, 18" high, 24" wide, 14" deep, Cyprus and Cedar wood, two(2) medium size drawers next to three(3) smaller drawers above one(1) long drawer on the bottom. Hardware is old black iron, shows some wear and tear, some rust, small broken pieces.
