Antiquq Persian Afshar style rug hand knotted from wool.The Afshar were a preeminent nomad tribe who crafted high quality rugs. The two stepped medallions in the center is one of their typical designs. It measures 6'5" by 4'4".

This is a fantastic, antennae hilted, bronze age sword found in Northern India. The patina suggests a high copper content. This museum quality piece measures roughly 495mm and weighs 523 grams. The blade is 8mm thick in the center and the antennae are roughly 12 mm thick. The measurement between the outer edges of the antennae is 8.5cm. The blade edge is jagged but the metal is solid and stable with no signs of repair. This is a very rare sword that needs to be in your collection!

A textile panel made of different dyed silk stripes, exquisitely embroidered with motifs from Zoroastrian myths such as fishes or botehs. The backing is a coarse blue dyed cotton, framed by a black ribbon. This is a well-painted double-sided erotic miniature, 19th century or earlier. The painting has slight staining and has not been examined outside the frame. Possibly from a Kama Sutra text, or the Gulistan. The leaf measures 4-1/4" X 7". Gold highlights. Overall measurement of the frame is 6" X 8-1/2". 19th century or earlier.

Antique middle eastern silk rug with scrolling floral design on a dark blue ground. late 19th early 20th century. It measures 44" by 56".

Small antique tribal Persian chanteh (bag). Hand woven of wool in lovely deep indigo blue and brown. A central rectangle of deep blue has six vertical bands of white with interlocking motifs perhaps of rams horns, a powerful masculine symbol. Framing this is a wide dark brown band which is subtly woven with repeating protective eye motifs. The back of the bag is woven a solid deep brown color. Circa 1900. Size: 17" wide x 13" high

This is an ancient bronze dagger or spear from Judea. It dates to roughly 1100 BC, around the time of King David. This elegant weapon measures 208mm in length and weighs 103 grams. It has a beautiful,natural patina and shows no signs of damage or repair except a slight bend near the tip. The metal is solid and stable.

Carved from gray schist and retaining most of the neck, this head appears to have once been part of a larger relief carving. The back of the head was probably attached to a larger stone background and was later chiseled off. The hair is wavy and the lips are bow shaped. There are no apparent cracks or repairs to the stone, but the lower left ear shows some small loss. A large silver tray of oval form with applied scrolling handles. The sloping sides of the salver with repousse decoration in the Turkish baroque style. Tughra and two other marks to either end of the tray, each handle with two hallmarks. Condition: traces of usage, the sides with two short cracks, one old repair with crack near the attachment of one handle (pic. 9). Dimension total: 41.5 cm long x 26.7 cm wide, weight: 760 g.

A fine Persian nargileh water pipe cup "qalian" in conical form made of copper decorated in enamel against a gilt background. Showing four medaillons with portraits of youths among cartouches with floral bouquets or faces. Interior with clay, the foot with four lugs. An antique 17th-century Islamic, Tatar sword-saber Ordynka, mounted with a 16th-century European Italian blade.

The sword's hilt has a finely hand-carved hardwood grip, with beautiful natural grains, and a small pistol-shaped pommel.
