Three small rectangular Iranian women's pouches. Made of termeh wool fabric with boteh motifs, partially embellished with gold braids. With monochrome silk or cotton lining. A round tray cover made of glazed cotton lavishly block-printed and dyed, produced in Isfahan in the 19th century. The bindings are rectangular, and the front and the back are finely hand-painted with central lobed medallions depicting various figures in domestic and garden settings surrounded by flower sprays and foliage within a further border of flower sprays. Antique 19th century Indo Persian Qajar dynasty Islamic ceramic tile of oval form, finely hand painted under a clear crackle glaze depicting a hunting scene with a courtly male dressed in a splendid dress with spear hunting antelopes on horseback in companion of a hound dog, set in a mountainous landscape.

DIMENSIONS: 40.5 cm x 27.5 cm (15.94 x 10.83 inches).

CONDITION: Cracked in half "clean break” and glued together one chip on the back of the rim.

A square composite panel made of antique embroideries from the Greek islands (Ottoman Empire). The basic fabrics are different plain cotton weaves, embroidered with silk or wool and metal wrapped threads. Traces of former mounting, maybe as a pillow cover. Condition: one hole (see photo no. 4), some slits, some missing threads, little faded. Dimension: 51 cm x 52.5 cm.

A small cylindrical container made of brass with a domed cover with close fitting. With engraved decoration in horizontal bands, the widest with four medallions each containing a figure at leisure. Its function is not obvious, maybe an ink pot (davat) or a container for tobacco or spices. From an old Swiss collection. Condition: good, few tiny dents. Dimension: 7.0 cm high, diameter: 2.9 cm, weight: 56 g.
