The gold work on the band. The center has design of poet at the top of tree trunk with brush and paper on his hand. Poet's Kimono with gold work. The Plum tree is nicely painted. The ground and grass have gold works on them. Sky clouds are done with gold work as well...
The outside of this antique perfume bottle, from Afghanistan, is covered with silver metal which has a detailed, etched and fire polished design.

A solid cast bronze alloy figure depicting Krishna the "Butter Thief" as a youth holding a ball of butter that he stole from his stepmother. Baby Krishna or Bala Krishna is crawling with a ball of butter in his right hand. Bronze 10 tical opium Toe weight with lovely patina, ca. 1750-1776 AD.
Lovely early version of the Toe type with the elavated tail and with four instead of the usual three spikes, with a octagonal base engraved with concenthric lines and fine details to the cast.
Possible released by King Hsinbyushin in connection with his war campaigns into Manipur, Lanna and Siam in 1763-1767. Reff: Leif B. Mikkelsen 'Opium Weights', p.133, fig. 71.

19th century Japanese sword menuki of Benkei carrying a huge temple bell on his back, currently mounted as a pin. Benkei was a famous 12th century yamabushi (warrior priest), and one of his daring exploits was the theft of the bell of Miidera which he carried to his monastery on the top of the hill.. Very clever design, wonderful detailing, metal appears to be silver with gold wash (worn). Height 1 inch.

An Arita blue & white porcelain dish decorated with a pavilion and poetry, an equestrian and servant in the foreground. The dish is moulded with a shallow ‘rinka’ edge. The back is plain and has three spur marks within the foot-rim.
An identical dish is illustrated in the Shibata Collection Vol.4, #303 where it is dated to 1770~1800.
Approximately 17.8 cm diameter. The dish has some light wear from normal use but is otherwise in fine condition...

During the Qing Dynasty, hair combs like this were commonly used. The structure is bone and the tines are of wood. A few tines have gone missing with age and use. The comb is about 5 inches x 2 inches.
Possibly made from an old kimono, this sweet drawstring purse charming painted and appliqued scenes of trees, rocks and flowers going around the body of the purse. The bottom shows a country gentleman sitting on a rock under a tree enjoying the mountain view. overall condition is very good, however the fabric sleeve for the drawstring is deteriorated.
