A Chinese porcelain moulded dish of sixteen petaloid form, (chrysanthemum form, kikugata) decorated with panels of flowers, Chrysanthemums, Plum Blossom, brocade bands and Tea flowers to the centre. The reverse painted with sprigs in iron red and underglaze blue. The dish dates to the late Kangxi circa 1700-1720.
The dish measures 18.5cms in diameter...
A lovely small childs dagger, made in the late neolithic period, Daggertime-bronzeage, c. 2000-1600 BC.
Finely knapped in dark fossilized silex!

This is a finely hand-carved netsuke in Kurogaki (Black Persimmon) wood of a Lotus Seed Pod, made as a Karakuri or 'trick' Netsuke in that the seeds rattle and peep out of the seed holes. Netsuke was carved by an unknown artist from the Iwami Province sometime during the Early 19th centuries. The carving exhibits similar material and carving characteristics of a netsuke (Photo #6) made by Seiyodo Gansui (1809-1848)...

This traditional embroidered vest was made and worn by the woman of the Miao minority culture living in the Ge Jia region of China generations ago. The textile fabric was hand woven with a specific thread count to allow for the geometric embroidery pattern which was added later.

A rare and good example of blue and white tripod censer, standing on three legs of animal form, a plain side with two lizards climbing to the wall flanked by diaper pattern surrounded to the rim and Chrysanthemum design to lower part. Chinese Blue and White covered rectangle shape Scholar's Box, Ca. 1880-1920, 2" high maximum, 4 3/8" x 3 1/8" wide, underglaze blue design of the flowers in the basket in the diamond shape cartouche enclosed with geometric blue design of triangle shape borders on four(4) corners, supported by four(4) short feet, bottom is unglazed. There are etched Chinese Characters written inside the bottom of the box and also under the cover. The dome top cover is wrapped a little, doesn't fit tightly...
19th century Chinese export napkin ring carved on the outside with a continuous scene of Chinese scholars in different settings. Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Carved with a numeral 10 in raised oval reserve. Inside diameter 1 1/2 inches, height 5/8 inches.
Japanese dark lacquered Funa Tansu, or ship safe box with heavy hand-forged iron hardware and plates. The interior of the box holds six small drawers opened by kan (ring) pulls, one with a lock plate. The piece has a warabite handle for carrying on top.

A portable vanity case of blackwood with all original hardware and mirror. It is in it's original condition as found. Age. Very early 19th century. Size: L. 27.5cm. W.20cm. H.10.8cm. Condition. No repairs. Mirror has some peeling of the silver backing around the edges, because of age. One handle knocker is missing and the lock has decomposed (common with these old pieces).Some old reinforcement strips on the front and inside.

Chenghua Mark
This is an exceptional Enameled Porcelain Snuff Bottle of cylindrical form, round, long neck and wide mouth, and a narrow raised edge and flat base with an apocryphal Chenghua Mark (Chinese Ming Period 1465-1487), but most likely made during the first half (1810-1870) of the 19th century, according to 'Marks on Chinese Ceramics' by Gerald Davison...
