Antique Himalayan small silver Buddha Sakyamuni seated in vajrasana position on a lotus throne. His feet are folded in his lap in vajraparyankasana and his right hand reaches down in bhumispara mudra. His expression is compassionate with downcast eyes and a slight smile. The bottom of the base is covered in copper.

19th Century Japanese Musha Ningyô of Ushiwakamaru, the boy who would grow up to become the great 12th Century warrior, Minamoto no Yoshitsune. This wonderful Boys Day Ningyo is the
rarest of all the Boys Day figures. He is a fine example of Meiji Period Ningyo
making. He wears gorgeous brocades and has a very expressive face. He is never
seen wearing a helmet, in order to show his fantastic hairstyle. 12.25 x 16.5 inches, 31 x 42 cm. Excellent Condition.
Antique Chinese porcelain 'Justice' cup, beautiful flambé glaze with hues of brown and eggplant to tints of blue and gray. Inside stands a bearded sage in a textured light cream and brown glaze. The Chinese Justice Cup was engineered with a twist; if it is filled to a "greedy" or top level, all of its liquid contents run out from the bottom of the cup. Age: 19th Century.

This is a very rare and finely carved jade tubular bead with raised collars. It dates to the Costa Rican Nicoya and Guanacaste period, C50 BC. It is 4 3/4" long and 1/2" thick. It has a beautiful patina. One end has a single break (shown in the pictures). It has been professionally repaired and does not distract.

Antique Japanese pair of shokudai (candle sticks). Made of copper repousse and overlaid with silver, these candle sticks are decorated with a intricate chrysanthemum and scrolling vine motif. The base and top of each of the candle sticks flares out and is lobed in a chysanthemum form with scalloped edges.

Antique Chinese bronze incense burner with two compartments and standing on 3 small claw feet. Lotus flower petals blooms outward like eaves on a lantern. The body is incised with scrolling vines and leaves and the lid is pierced with a cloud pattern. A finial handle is in the form of a lotus bud.
