Chinese 19th Century Glazed Stoneware Shipwreck Jar
Many years ago we bought a small group of jars of this type. We were told they dated to the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) and had been in storage, having several years earlier been recovered from a shipwreck off Thailand. To the base of each jar is written an inventory number (we were told around 200 of these jars were excavated but how accurate this is, we do not know)...
A Chinese porcelain incense burner with blue monochrome exterior and white interior. There are three rounded bumps at the base that represent the three feet of a tripod censor. The bowl measures about 4" high x 8" in diameter and dates to the 19th Century. The condition is excellent, with minor kiln flaws. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

1900's Chinese Lavender Amethyst Crystal Carved Peach Pendant with Seed Pearl
The overall is 3.5 inches (9 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. The pendant is 1.6 inches (4 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. the jadeite bead is 9.1 mm. It is 29.4 gram.
It has loose thread at the pearl bead, chips at the stalk of the pendant, inclusions, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Two baskets are being offered here and both are from the Northeast, most probably from the Penobscot of Maine. They are lidded, made of splint ash, and use natural dyes of green and orange.
Basket 1, although it has a square base, is 14 3/4" in diameter and 11 1/2" in height. They are about 3 smallish splint breaks as shown in the photos, but the basket is structurally sturdy.
Basket 2 has a medial sweetgrass braid and a dyed interior. The 4 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" in height.

Quite a unique old traditional Japanese Fushimi ningyo clay doll, together with too small boy? or too big baby?, 19th century, 26 x 13.5 x H 20 cm (10.23 x 5.31 x 7.87in), with the engraved sign at the bottom seemed to be the one of 'Ikaruga Kouemon' as the Edo period's master Fushimi doll craftsman, but not sure...
Unusual Japanese red lacquered kiri wood arrow (ya) case, with gilt paulownia mon (crest) on its lid and sides. There underside of the lid has calligraphy. Iron hardware on lid and sides.

An antique Japanese Kotansu (personal storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Kakute style handles which mimics the angular square lock plates of the drawers. The six drawers of varying sizes allows for functional organizing and spacious storage. Side handles allow one to carry the tansu from room to room.
