A spectacular blue and white dish, with flower shaped rim and decorated with a pair Phoenix's flight among Chrysanthemum, surrounded by leafy of ten blackberry lily blossom to rim, the cavetto side with continuously lotus pattern, base unglazed. Found it in perfect condition is extremely lucky. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century. Diameter: 31 cm.

Antique Chinese framed hand-woven Kesi panel, made from silk with gold thread, depicting a scene of court women, attending to the central figure by offering her tea, a lotus, and other accoutrements. The surrounding area has large scholar rocks and plants with ruyi motifs, a platform with a picture of waves hung against the wall. The front and backside may be viewed through the framing, which has edges carved like bamboo with gold finish.

Tibetan Himalayan Hard Silver Seal or Chop with Yak leather rope with turquoise, coral and shell bead between, 19th Century, 3 5/8" high for silver Chop, 1 1/8" diameter on the bottom, with beautiful free flow of scrolling vines with Steel engraved with Buddhist motif bottom. This seal was found in Tibet during 1980's visit by collector, never been in commercial market before. The condition is good except small dent but not very much noticeable.

Antique Japanese rare plique-a-jour cloisonne vase. This is a very early plique and in perfect condition. Intricate enamel design of a blossoming tree and a blue bird flying through a light blue sky with little clouds. The design is made with fine silver wire and enamel. Plique-a-jour is made when the inside metal armature has been etched away until the enamel is held in place by the wires only. The effect is a beautiful jewel-like translucency. The rim and bottom of the vase are also silver....

Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, of a tall trumpeted form, with blue underglaze scene of people gathering on the shoreline to gaze upwards at Shoulao soaring on the back of a crane. Shoulao is one of the Three Star Gods of Fortune known as Fu Lu Shou, who represent happiness and prosperity, status and authority and health and longevity. The top and bottom of the vase are incised near the edge with a band of floral scroll motifs.

An outstanding and very large pottery sculpture of a Fish, Indonesia, Majahapit Empire, 13th.-14th. century AD.
The sculpture comes with a termo-Luminescence test from Kotalla Laboratory in Dec. 2020, the vessel tested as ca. 590 years old.
The fish is resting on a large podium with it's tail and head lifted, it's sharp teeth visible in a large curving mouth. A museum quality rendering and among the finest pottery art known for Majahapit, available on the market.

Chinese Brass Lock and Key with Chinese Character signed inside, Ca. 1900 or before, outside measurement(3 1/4" long, 1 1/4" high, 7/8" deep, inside measurement(2 1/8" long, 3/8" high under stick, 7/8" deep), the round stick is 1/4" diameter, old age green patina or stain on brass, and in good working condition.
A delightful Japanese wood tray in the shape of a lotus leaf. Chiseled Katabori with raised veins and stem and stippled leaf rolled back on sides. The back of the tray is as detailed as the top with an intricate pattern of veins and curved stem. The tray is used in the tea ceremony.

Nagoro banana leaf tray lacquer over wood. The black lacquer shines through the red to reveal the ribs and veins of the leaf.
In the literati tradition, banana leaves were used by scholar recluses as paper to write calligraphy. Later, this motif was incorporated into other forms of art making the image one of the symbols of the literati aesthetics.

The inscription is connected to Saint Thecla, whose upper arm and blurred hand appear below.

Japanese indigo cotton fireman's coat, with sashiko stitching and freehand paste resist decoration (tsutsugaki) of a cherry blossom, overlapping rings and striations. The front of the coat has four kanji characters on the lapel, and the inside of the coat is resist dyed with geometric designs and a round central emblem.
