A Chinese White Glazed Dish...
With compressed globular body rising to a tall neck and flared rim, covered overall, and on the base, with an unctuous glaze of green tone, the foot rim left unglazed exposing the red burn. Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279)

Rare “kiln waster” possibly from the Qingliangsi Kiln, Baofeng, Henan- see reference in last enlargement. D: 11.8cm/4.7in and H: 4cm/1.6in. Very shiny black glaze. There is one star crack on the side as well as “slag” adhesions on the rim. Please examine enlargements. May still be used for tea ceremony if you don't mind a little "wabi sabi"

Stoneware under an opaque turquoise and cobalt glaze with floral design and markings in black. Wonderful 'grazing' of the glaze and with irriscence.
Diameter: 21,52 cm. and 10,2 cm. tall.
Condition: Near Extremely fine for type, completely intact with small area of touched up glaze on the back. No repairs and exceptional gloss and patina.

A Chinese White Glazed Water-Dropper with Pigeon. Circa 12th-14th Century, Song-Yuan Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
This water-dropper features a qingbai-type glaze that covers its entire body and stops short of its foot. Two loop handles sit on its shoulders and its neck is decorated with carved circles. A figure of a pigeon rests on top of the vessel and its base remains unglazed. This vessel was probably used by scholars for pouring water to wet ink, used for calligraphy...
