A Chinese celadon vase, Qing Dynasty. Decorated with dragon. Beautiful colour with blue combination white and red. Height approximately 42 cm. The vase has a hair line 3 cm and inside rim 5 cm (photo number 9). Good condition.

For the tea and cloisonne collector: A signed totai cloisonne on Kyoto ceramic cha-ire (tea jar). Decoration in red, black rose, pink, green, blue and yellow of flowers, butterfly and other motifs on blue background. The jar with both lid and cover. Late Meiji era (1868 - 1912). Good condition. A rare and interesting Western Mesopotamian stamp seal, Levantine workshop, near Antioch, Achaemenid type, c. 7th.-4th. cent. BC

The seal of a hemispheric design that became popular in the 1st. mill. BC. The image is interesting since it shows a Bull butting left with a bird on it's shoulder, leaf above and unidentiofied object before.

Japanese red lacquer on wood and brocaded Silk Obi Fabric top Folding Stand, 17 1/2" high, 18" wide, 14 1/2" deep-maximum(when opened), and 24" high, 14 1/2" deep(when closed), later part of Meiji period early 1900's, silk fabric has no open seam, all one(1) piece of silk Obi fabric, woven for this stand when it was made. The eight(8) metal caps have impressed design. There are some dull lacquer area from the usage but no damage.

Bust of Buddha, his face reflecting a profound inner serenity. Bronze with encrusted dark and reddish green patina. Thailand, Ayutthaya Period, Ca. 16th century. Height: 8 1/4" (21 cm). The bust is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Good condition. NOTE: a bronze plate was welded to the back of the bust, probably early 20th century, to allow the bust to be attached to a former stand, now gone (see photos). Ex. old French collection.

Small iron lantern of rectangular format stretched in height with its base. The paper comes from a book page of classical Japanese literature. This writing is developed from the 8th century and is borrowed from the Chinese writing.
